Reality Carp Fishing feel privileged and honoured to be part of the British Carp Cups media team, where we undertake the filming and presenting of the events for television. It is a wonderful experience being involved in such a wonderful series. Along with Nathan Allen from BT we feel that we have captured on film the very essence of what the British Carp Cups competition is all about. Great teams of anglers fishing against each other at stunning locations with tense battles all mixed up in a friendly atmosphere but without forgetting they are competing for the ultimate prize of British Carp Cup Champions.
At Reality Carp Fishing our objective is to share our passion for carp fishing through our series of films and photography.
We always aim to show you the highs, the lows, the captures, the atmosphere and the laughs of this wonderful pastime we call carp fishing.

The Fishing Academy:
The Fishing Academy (TFA) is a registered charity (No. 1130607) initially established to provide support, guidance and alternative provisions for young people, some of whom are at risk of exclusion from school, having problems at home, socially excluded or who are on the fringes of crime and / or causing anti-social behaviour. The range of participants has now been widened to potentially include all school children who their sponsoring school feel may benefit from the experience of the small group sizes we can offer.
Since 2004, TFA has used the popular sport of angling as an engagement tool which provides a platform for a professionally structured 12-month program, teaching young people to fish, whilst delivering a Qualification i.e. the AIM Award in Angling and the Environment which is comparable to a high grade GCSE.
Whilst engaged in the program the participants also reinforce their numeracy and literacy skills thus increasing their general confidence and ability to learn.

Myself and Mick would like to add this to our website. It is something that is very close to us. In the past we have had 2 Lurchers that were rescue dogs and we now have a new Lurcher pup that we adopted from these wonderful people and a rescue Lurcher originally form Ireland. Please click below to visit their website.
Introduction of their work from Hayley and Richard Pattrick of the Norfolk Greyhound Rescue.
Norfolk Greyhound Rescue is a small non-profit organisation whose main aim is finding caring people to re-home Irish Greyhounds – ex racers and also those that never made it to the track. This is because there are literally thousands of dogs that either don’t make the grade, or are discarded once they are no longer to race. Without intervention of greyhound rescue organisations, many meet a very sad end. We also work with other charities and help Lurchers looking for their forever home.
We prefer the hounds to be housed in foster homes when they reach the UK. This is kinder to the dogs, as they get to experience some of the love and luxury of life as a pet. Whilst they are in foster care their fosterer can assess their personalities, start training, and be able to tell the potential adopter much more about the hound. Most foster homes are in Norfolk but if you live outside the county and can foster a hound for us, please get in touch.
Few people ever regret making the move into the wonderful world of greyhound rescue.
